DAY CAMP SAFETY
We are pleased to offer Summer Day Camps beginning May 31, 2020. Here’s how we’re keeping everyone safe.
Dear Parents and Guardians:
Please review our procedures for keeping children safe during the Aerospace Museum of California Summer Day Camps.
Our staff and camp counselors are trained to encourage and maintain strict social distancing guidelines and cleanliness based on state and county regulations to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Camp groups will be limited to 10-12 students. Each group will stay together as a group and with the same camp counselor for the duration of the week. Groups will have a designated meeting place in our huge 4.5 acre Air Park, or our 37,000 square foot indoor facility and will not intermingle with other camp groups. Supplies will be provided to each student in their own container for the duration of their stay and will not be shared. Social distancing will be practiced within each group.
Daily temperature checks will be conducted by our staff upon arrival of each student. Additionally, there will be periodic temperature checks throughout the week.
Masks will be worn by camp counselors. We will require students to wear masks. There will be several opportunities for students to remove masks and take a breather when not involved in activities.
HAND WASHING/HAND SANITIZER
Campers and staff will have easy access to handwashing stations and hand sanitizer. Students and counselors will be required to wash hands or sanitize hourly.
CAMPS WILL BE CONDUCTED OUTDOORS WHEN WEATHER PERMITS
Campers will spend as much time outdoors as possible, weather permitting, with bathroom and handwashing breaks.
We hope that these guidelines will help put you at ease when deciding to send your child to a camp at the Aerospace Museum of California. If you have any further questions, you can call us at 916-643-3192 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
