AMERICAN RIVER COLLEGE DESIGN HUB

American River College’s Design Hub Interns work at the Museum getting real-world experience supporting graphics, VR, embedded systems, scanning, 3D printing, laser cutting, and STEM game design.

As our internship program with American River College grows, ARC students will be building an educational outpost at the Museum featuring cutting edge design technology.

THE SOAR PROGRAM

Under the leadership of NASA Astronaut and Scientist Dr. Stephen Robinson, the SOAR Program is designed to foster an appreciation and passion for STEM education in young students.

The SOAR mentorship program hopes to inspire young students towards a lifelong pursuit of STEM knowledge, leading to a career in the industry.

GIRL SCOUTS

The Museum works with local Girl Scouts to offer events and programs geared towards earning STEM badges.

These day long programs are designed to help individual Girl Scouts as well as whole troops learn about space in a fun and interactive environment.
