Father’s Day Open Cockpit Day – June 18, 2017

Pilot Your Own Adventure and Explore the World of Aviation!

Ever wonder what you’d look like sitting in the cockpit of one of America’s famous airplanes? Here’s your chance to climb aboard and put yourself in the pilot’s seat of one of the Museum’s amazing airplanes.

Open Cockpit Day gives visitors the chance to explore the exciting field of aviation by getting up close and personal with some of our historic aircraft. You’ll have the opportunity to enter and explore the many aircraft in our Air Park at Open Cockpit Day, Sunday, June 18, 10 am to 5 pm—and Dads get in free!

Fun for the whole family!

DADS ARE FREE (must be accompanied by a child)

Aerospace Summer Camp

For students Ages 13-17

Come Learn to Fly!  Our Aerospace Summer Camp is where you will pilot your own adventure!   Learn about aviation and experience aviation first hand.

Activities include using our Flight Zone simulators to gain experience flying a plane and visiting the United States Coast Guard Air Station to see real flight operations.  All students will have the chance to fly on a small private aircraft!

Summer Camp Dates:

  • July 10-13, 2017 – CAMP IS FULL!
