Webb’s First Images Celebration

WEBB’S FIRST IMAGES CELEBRATION

Join us in celebrating the James Webb Space Telescopes’ first scientific images of space. As an official NASA community host site, the Aerospace Museum will be offering fun hands-on STEM activities for families from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in addition to a special talk about Webb’s first images in partnership with NASA Solar System Ambassador Tim Pinkney at 11 a.m. Before and after the talk, participants will have the opportunity to search the skies with telescopes and solar scopes provided by our friends from the Sacramento Valley Astronomical Society. Amelia Bearhart will host fun space-themed activities like a solar system scavenger hunt, edible constellations, the life cycle of a star bracelets, and so much more!  

 
$15 General Admission (Ages 18+)
$10 Student (Ages 4-17) / Senior (Ages 65+) / Veteran / Teacher (with ID) Admission
